Hi. I have a question regarding the `uuencode' methogd I've seen used here
to transmit binary files in a text-oriented medium. I wonder if there is
anyone out there who can send me the algorithm, or a vanilla C program for
this system; I am currently using a simple method of translating each byte
to its equivalent hex representation, which results in 100% increase in the
size of the file. If Uuencode can do better, I'd be MOST interested in
hearing about it!! Since I'm not an Atari ST user (just read this because
I'm interested), please mail any responses directly.
Thanks,
George Madison
