🚀 go-pugleaf

Here, at long last, is the new release (MG1B) of MicroGnuEmacs.  It is
being shipped in several parts:

    0:     What you're reading now.
    1,2:   Executable and documentation files.  Glue together, uudecode
	   and unarc.  MG1BBIN.ARC = 66701 bytes.
    3,4,5: Sources.  Glue together, uudecode and unarc.  
           MG1BSRC.ARC = 119148 bytes.

Please note, I've included *only* the parts of the sources that are
required to rebuild MG on the Atari.  If you want to run MG on some other
machine, the full distribution is available for anonymous FTP from
jade.berkeley.edu; the file is in compressed tar format and is called 
mg1b.tar.Z.  And, if you get ambitious about adding new features, please 
do everybody a favor and get yourself added to the mg-support mailing list 
(read the README file).


Summary of new features:

You can now rebind the function keys and numeric keypad from your startup 
file.

Better documentation: a tutorial for new users and brief writeup to describe
the startup file format.

Numerous bug fixes, most of which I personally had nothing to do with.  In
the Atari-specific code, I increased the size of the buffer space between
the end of the heap and the stack pointer, which will hopefully allow MG
to recover more gracefully when it runs out of memory.  I also cleaned up
some of my earlier code so that MG1B is actually a bit smaller than MG1A.
