VSH manager info wanted (please?)

Can someone please tell me exactly what VSH manager (in combination
with MT-C Shell, right?) will let me do?  What I want to do is be able
to run more than 1 GEM program at once, for example 1st Word and 
Publishing Partner and UniTerm.  Can it do this?  If not what does it do
?  Please help me out on this one.  The more info, the better.  This
product really sounds goos to me, I hope it's what I want.
