When I sold my Mega STe a while ago, I didn't have a chance to get the data
off my hard drive. Now I need some kind-hearted person to let me borrow
an ST so I can finally get it off! I need an ST with at least TOS 1.4 (so
I can read my 32Mb partition), a mouse, and a working floppy drive (720K
or 1.44Mb). I am in Annandale, VA and am willing to drive about an hour to
pick up and return the computer. I would like to do this this weekend (7/8),
but I can do it early next week too. I will probably need your machine for
three days. In return, I will give you

Two of the following (all have docs unless noted):

Dungeon Master
Shufflepuck Cafe
Spectrum 512
MaxiFile (v2.0, 1989)
Quick ST (v2.1, '90; has registration card)
Populous
Flash! (v1.6, 1988)
1st Word Plus (v2.02, 1987)
War in Middle Earth (I think this had a map. I've lost it)
DC Desktop (v1.0, 1990)
DC Utilities (v2.0d, 1990)
Bubble Bobble
Valgus^2 (registered shareware Tetris derivative)

OR, one of the following:

STalker (v3.00, 1991)
STeno (v2.00, 1991; has registration card)
pc-ditto
Data Diet (v1.0, 1991)
Lemmings (in box, never used)
Replay 4 cartridge (has software, no docs)
Ultima V (I'm looking for the docs, contact me for a status report)

OR, credit towards the following (listed with asking price BEFORE credit):

SC1224 color monitor ($100)
ICD host adapter & case w/50Mb Seagate HD ($100)
Okidata 182 9-pin printer ($50)

OR, a small amount of cash.

I will test things for compatibility and operation when I get your machine.
