I'm reposting this here on behalf of Colin Fisher-McAllum, SysOp
of 42 BBS, as he hasn't quite mastered his usenet stuff yet.

Point of note: before anyone asks - yes, Daron does know that
this is being posted. In fact, he specifically requested that
Colin post something to let everyone know what was going on, and
why the NeST BBS network would be down.

Please don't email either Colin or I about this: everything
either of us knows is contained within this message.

I also urge all of you to think before posting any replies.
Remember that judicial laws state that someone is innocent until
proven guilty - Daron is a well-respected member of the Atari
community, and idle speculation would only harm his reputation.

Original from Colin Fisher-McAllum follows:

I am sorry to say that until other arrangements can be made,
NeST is
closed.

Daron Brewood was raided this morning and all his equipment
impounded
subject to an investigation into computer pornography.

        Regards

         Colin
