Doesn't MAGXBOOT then reload everything again after itself? It seems to 
on the MagiC 4 systems I have seen. I use ExtenDOS Pro 2.4a under MagiC 4 
frequently with no problems other than the APEX series animation/picture 
viewers not being able to work from/of CD...

If you would like to know more about how I have setup AUTO folder 
programs (something else may be the culprit), MagiC, or ExtenDOS, then 
drop us a line...
