There's another one which has now been reported by at least two different
people, so I'm rather surprised to find it isn't listed here.  ICE won't
talk to my modem at all - it sends what I assume is supposed to be the
init string, but nothing happens and I end up having to reboot.  After a
bit of experimentation involving a PC and a null modem, I've managed to
create a log file which will be sent to Phil pronto.  Basically, the first
character ICE sends to the modem is a null.  This is bad.

"For some reason"?!  There's no earthly reason why this should happen,
unless there really is some problem with ICE.  (Which there is.)
