Chip, Eric, thanks for your help. One more question:

Have you guys set up remote repositories in CVS over a network? I tried
yesterday with little success, and someone here said that since there was no
rsh for UNIX on be, it was not going to work.

If I can return the favor, let me know. Usually I'm good for C++ questions.
