Hello,
While porting programs (traceroute and a graphics interpreter)
to EP/IX (1.4.3),
I end up with the error-message:
ld:
Undefined:
_ctype
I have not found this routine anywhere, but there are
"ctype" or "ctype_".
Is there a typo in a ?.h-file ? In which ?
Thanks for any help.

_ctype is defined in the sysv "flavor" of libc.a. It is a table used by
the
the macros (such as isascii and isdigit) in the ctype.h include file.
In the bsd43 world, the comparable table is named "_ctype_".
Is it possible that you are mixing sysv and bsd43 during your compilation?
For example, could you be doing something like this?
cc -systype sysv -c program.c
cc -systype bsd43 -o program program.o
Another possibility is that you are compiling for bsd43, but you are
using full path names for includes. For example:
#include </usr/include/ctype.h>
in your C program or perhaps:
cc -systype bsd43 -I/usr/include -c program.c
for your compile command.
