Convex C3800 memory information

There's been a lot of recent discussion of memory bandwidth, etc.
of various super and mini-super computers, as well as workstations,
in comp.arch, etc. I'm interested in performance parameters of
the Convex C3800 system, in particular:

	memory bandwidth (peak)
memory bandwidth on compiled code (e.g., streams benchmark)
effect of virtual memory on all this
(e.g., what is the page size, TLB size, etc).

If anyone cares to share this information I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Peak bandwidth is 500MB/sec/port.

ie a C3880 with 8 memory boards has a peak bandwidth to memory
of 4 GByte/sec.

Including the Comm reg port adds another 500MB/sec to the total,
but this is not usually thought of as memory bandwidth.

Sorry, I do not know the benchmarking info you asked for.

I have been informed by a coworker that I was calculating this
with the wrong clock speed. The actual peak bandwidth is 480 MB/sec/port.

Sorry for any confusion.
