a copy of v0.58. It DOES run on the RB (as FIDO-FAM v.5 refused to). But
it seems to do flakey things. Have you used most features successfully (sort,
move, etc.)?

What's a Rainbow. Is it an Operating System or what. We just got a new
echo on this board which is this one and don't know what Rainbow is.

% David, are there any limitations on use of these gateways? Like who

%when viewed from the other size of things?

There is a policy agreement for the operation of these nodes, but I do
not have a copy yet. David Dodell's address is in the nodelist I am sure.
I do not know it off of the top of my head. Unless I am told otherwise,
you can send netmail (host-routed please - I am not CM) to me and I will
automatically put it into UUCP. Mail coming from UUCP will automatically
be routed through the correct gateway into FidoNet. Tell me where you are
and I can recommend a closer gateway too.

The PC27XAH board was advertised in Newman's October catalog for $195. You
might give them a try @(313)994-3200 from 8:00am to 7:00pm EST; or maybe
George Dahlco can get it for you cheaper.

No thanks. I have use of several mainframes with connections to BITNET
and the Internet. But I suspect others in this Echo would appreciate
seeing a list of gateways thru which they could route mail to BITNET,
the Internet, and UUCP. Can you dig this nodelist up and post it here?

George
