Ok folks,  I posted a message some time ago asking for help
on the pin outs for the Rainbow printer port and no one responded,
so I'll try again.

Here's my situation.  I bought a used DEC LA50 printer surplus
but it did not come with the cable.  I know that I can use my modem
cable because it is the same as the printer cable (so I found by connecting
it to the printer but I cant't see the wiring for this cable as it 
is molded).  Switching between the two is a pain to say the
least.  I have the male/female DB25 connectors and about 12ft of
12-conductor cable (sheilded).

I need this info please.  If you can help, send me e-mail or
post to this group.

p.s.  I would also like to know how to control the la50 (i.e. user
manual) but this is not a priority.  Anyone got any suggestions on
how to get docs on the la50? Maybe from DEC?
