Yes, I'd like to get copies of whatever you have--this sounds like something
that should be in the WARUG Library. Contributions are always welcome!
Many Rainbow users don't have modems, and probably never will, so the WARUG
Library is a lifeline for them. Donations should be sent to International
Rainbow User's Group, P. O. Box 567, O'Fallon, IL 62269. If you need me
to send you disks, or help in some other way, just leave a note here or
give me a call (618) 632-1143. By the way, a user in Germany wrote to ask
about Version 2 of the Ute Graphics Editor, which I understand that Chris
Korda released to the public domain. The specific file I am looking for
is UteV2.ZIP. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this? Thanks
in advance to anyone who can help with any of these things. //Caroline

I am trying to update Rainbow News's list of Rainbow related BBSes--I have
two categories, BBSes with Rainbow software (with or without the Rainbow
Echo) and BBSes with the Rainbow Echo, but no Rainbow software. Is there
a current list anywhere? The latest list I could find on various BBSes
was about 11/88. I'm also updating our list of Rainbow user's groups.
If anyone knows anything about a BBS or user group, or a list of either,
please let me know ASAP. Here are a few I can't seem to reach: Rainbow
Brite (213) 644-1963, 102/109; Mike's Board, (314) 726-3448, 100/16; Pitt-Bull
(412) 257-2375, 129/384; Jim Greely's board (phone number I have is bad);
Wizard's Castle (603) 883-1596, 132/615; Dave Rene's board (phone number
I have is probably bad); Over the Rainbow, (713) 493-7483, 19/503; Oberon
Systems (805) 643-0982, 102/701. I have listings for boards in Germany,
Sweden and Australia, and can't afford to check them. If anyone knows the
fate of these boards, or boards new past June 88 (I know about Frank Mallory's
please call me at (618) 632-1143 or leave a message here or on my board
(618) 632-1146. Thanks, //Caroline

NOTES:
. 9600 baud typically implies operation also at 2400, 1200 and 300 baud.
. 2400 baud typically implies operation also at 1200 and 300 baud.
. 1200 baud typically implies operation also at 300 baud.
. All above boards not recently verified; if they exist in the Fido
National Nodelist they are assumed to be in operation.
. EchoMail carriers have message bases in which a message entered on that
particular board in certain message areas is moved between several or
many other boards carrying the same EchoMail Conference. Messages are
typically not private, and therefore are seen by many other users. The
user is cautioned about this feature of EchoMail.

Distribution, updates, and corrections are encouraged, however.
. If you don't feel like sorting this list to taste, it is available
from 102/138 in various sorted forms:
DECBBS.NOD - sorted by Net/Node number
DECBBS.NAM - sorted by name of bulletin board
DECBBS.PHO - sorted by area code, phone number
DECBBS.STA - sorted by State
DECBBS.SYO - sorted by Sysop's name
File requesting DECBBS.* gets them all.
. Current DEC related EchoMail Conference Coordinators/Moderators are:
PDP-11: Mark Buda, 132/777
RAINBOW: Dave Strickler, 101/45
VAX WEST: George Dahlco, 102/138
