particular board in certain message areas is moved between several or
many other boards carrying the same EchoMail Conference. Messages are
typically not private, and therefore are seen by many other users. The
user is cautioned about this feature of EchoMail.

Leave it to DEC to get them backwards!  If you can't find a way to get RX50
to read from B:, suggest you consider swapping the drives on the DECstation.
That's the way we set up our AT clones here, with the HD 5.25" drive as
A: and the 3.5" drive as B:

I've used Quick C for most of the stuff that I've done and have had no problem
(except long compile times).
