Subject: STRANGE BOARD
From: PAUL OLSON
Chris,
I believe the board you have with the 27 chips on it is the upgradable
memory board. It also sounds like it is packed with the maximum amount
of memory. The chips are the 256Kb type. It takes nine chips of that
type to make 256Kb, and you have three banks of nine. The other
board, with the soldered chips, is the 192Kb upgrade, and is not
expandable. I think if you remove the old memory board and put the
new one in, you will have a 'bow with the maximum amount of memory,
896Kb. I don't know who the chip manufacturer is based on the
description of the logo, and I'm not sure of the speed of the chips
based on the numbers you listed. Perhaps someone else can answer that
question. When I get home, I'll double-check the dip switch settings.
I think that all the switches need to be in the "on" position. I'll
get back to you later tonight.
As Always,
Paul

This going to be used for Professional Write, Professional plan

Thank you in advance.
