I just ended a month long quest looking for a piece of software for
the Rainbow known as "DSKPREP". I was putting a hard drive on a PC100B
and using WUTIL to do this, everything was OK but I could not boot DOS
from the hard drive. According to WUTIL this is because the DOS boot
loader needs to be patched for the number heads on my non standard hard
drive and DSKPREP is the way to do this. Anyway here is where I found
this:
The Silver Bullet BBS
Frank Mallory (Sysop)
(301) 622-2247 (This is in Maryland, I believe)
I used a PC clone and dialed in at 2400 baud, but 9600 baud is supported.
As near as I can tell, this is one of the few sources on earth for old
Rainbow Software.
