I own a '350, and am looking to make it do a little more than collect dust..
One thing that I would like to do is get a workin terminal/file tranfer
program up and running.. Its running P/OS (v1.7 or perhaps 2.0 I believe),
and PRO/Communications is installed, but not functional. I do not know
if its a software or hardware problem.. (even possibly 'operator headspace
error')..

When I enter terminal mode from Pro/Comms, it returns me to the P/C menu.
If I do it again, the machine freezes. I can get data <out> of the serial
port via a COPY command, Dont recall if i managed to get anything <in> via
this method..

The question is.. help???

Anyone willing to put up with my babblings in an attempt to breathe a
little life into the beastie?

$200 for what amounts to BSD for it, eh? Hmm.. tempting..

Try DECUS, they have a section in their catalog for the PRO
and they have a copy of KERMIT. Also, if needed, they have
P/OS V3.0 and DECnet.
