Howdy everybody:

I've just started reading this newsgroup so please forgive me for not
being as up to date as you all are!

I was recently given a MicroPDP 11/23 (model 11C23-H) which needs a
hard drive, console, and O/S (and hopefully that's it!).

I don't know anything about PDP11's.  Could somebody please give me
some information this machine?  It's module numbers that I haven't
been able to identify (which includes the CPU) are M8189, M8639,
M8067/LE, and M8067/KB.  Is there any type of FAQ sheet on this
machine?  I'm wondering if there are any other operating systems
available besides MicroRSX.  DEC still updates that O/S which makes it
beyond my financial means.  Are there any Unix's available for it (or
is that a silly question to ask)?  I have also posted to the xinu news
group. 

Any help you folks can give me would be very greatly appreciated.  I
hate to let this machine rot away in my room.  I can take care of the
hardware stuff but really could use some help on the O/S situation.
