I'm interested in hooking a VAXMATE up to a thin-wire network of unix machines running TCP/IP. I have the clarkson packet drivers and CUTCP which I am hoping to run on the VAXMATE. My problem is that I have absolutely no idea what driver (and what interrupts/addrs) to use. Does anyone on this newsgroup know? (or can tell me definitively that this is an inane idea that won't ever work)? Has anyone done such a thing? The manuals are dreadfully vague and don't even mention things like the level of processor (286) in the machine. Thanks for any and all help. Please email responses to STEIN_A@MSCF.MED.UPENN.EDU since I don't regualrly read this group. I will post a summary of answers back to the group.
