Folks,
Actually, the post is about the VAX4000/100, which I am not very familiar
with. I have already forwarded it off to a friend of mine who may be able to
provide a complete answer.
The systems to which Richard alludes are the current VS4000/60 and the
"coming soon to a theater near you" VS4000/90. These systems, in concert with
a TURBOchannel Adapter module and the new VMS v5.6 (Amber) will give you a
single TURBOchannel slot in the VS4000/xx systems. One of the adapters that
will be supported with the initial release will be the PMAZ-AB, which is our
SCSI Host Adapter. This would allow you another seven devices added to the
system.
I'll post any info I can find on the VAX4000/100 when I get it. I hope that
this clears things up (obviously my KA630 error/virus has infected Richard,
he almost *never* slips).
Thanx,
AJ
