They sure said to me "please don't run any benchmarks" (NB, I'm no
longer in that job, so don't have access to the bits of paper).

Given the nature of the request, my assumption was that they (a)
thought it would be useless anyway, and (b) would tip a ton of bricks
over the company (under our non-disclosure agreements) if we published
anything about results.
