Joseph,

What we were demonstrating at SIGGRAPH was a technology demonstration that
showed that it is possible to unify PEX and OpenGL so that both can run
simultaneously on the same workstation. That way customers won't have to get caught up in the PEX vs OpenGL religious war and can simply choose the 3D API that is best for their application.

Most of the OpenGL licensee's are anticipating shipping OpenGl formally in
spring of '93. We'll probably have developers kit available before then, but
haven't announced anything yet.

Hope this helps,

- Russ
