Same here...

I suspect what happened is DEC picked a part number out of the air, and then
decided to see how many people wanted it before they actually put
engineering effort into designing the damn thing.

I bought a 4000/60 because my rep assured me that I could put the 2 scsi
interfaces in.  I now have a nice 4000/60 sitting here waiting to do the
job it was originally designed for, that I've paid for.

Pisses me off.  On the other hand, my HP9000/730's are doing the job the
VAX was supposed to do very nicely...  You can bet where my money's going
next time.
