🚀 go-pugleaf

I have an 11/785 (of which I'm rather fond :-) which is one member of
our main cluster along with 2 8800s. It has been off maintenance now for
about 18months and I guess we all expected it to have expired long ago,
but it has run faultlessly until this weekend. After crashing about 12
times in as many hours, it has rebooted, but it no longer sees any of
the peripherals installed in the Unibus.

I spoke to our friendly DEC engineer and he suggested reseating the
DW780, checking the cables from the SBI to the Unibus cabinet and also
checking the voltage levels in the Unibus. I have done all this but to
no avail :-(

I have run the micro diagnostics and get a failure in ETKAR (version 3.3) 
in test 57. The error message is "%TIMEOUT IN TEST 020C PTC=123C". I'm
sure this means something to someone, but without access to a manual
it's just a little difficult....

In addition, when the system is booted and running VMS, if I run SYSGEN
and do a SHOW/CONFIG all I see is the CI and not the DW or the RH that's
in there too. Does this indicate a DW failure rather than a problem with
the Unibus box itself?

Any help would be truely appreciated as this 785 was originally
purchased (as a 780) in 1980, making it one of the oldest VAXes in
Australia.
