Can you use a track ball with a VS4000?

A user that just got a VAXstation 4000-60 would like to use a track ball
instead of the corporate mouse (he hates mice).  However, the connections
for the track balls aren't the same as the 7-pin DEC connector.  So, does
DEC sell a track ball, or preferably an adaptor for other Logitech devices?
