G++ on the DS3100

Just a note to those out there who want to run g++ on the ds3100 (and
presumably its kin). I made many attempts to get g++ running, with many
failures. However, the newest release seemed to compile, install, and
even work correctly, namely gcc 1.37.1 and g++ 1.37.1.

I have managed to get a "hello world" running using ostreams, which is
a definite first for me, anyway. GCC compiled and installed flawlessly,
but I had to tinker with a couple g++ files and compiler options to get
it to compile correctly. The g++ installation is not nearly as simple
as gcc.

The upshot: for those who have tried, failed, and given up on g++ on
the decstation, well, try again with a fresh gcc/g++. It seems to
work.
