Well, it went away when the video simm board was replaced but its back
again !!

I've made more check: It occurs next to any 1-pixel wide vertical line
either pure blue or pure red in color. Nothing next to a pure green line.
And still happens every 4 columns.

If a put even a hint of red or green with the blue (or blue/green with
the red), the black fuzzy line disappears...

For example, 'xterm -bd #ff0000' and 'xterm -bd #0000ff' will have the
black line but 'xterm -bd #ff0001', 'xterm -bd #0100ff' or
'xterm -bd #00ff00' won't !!
