A week or so ago I saw some stuff about revisions for the ROMs on DEC's RZ55 drives which would speed up access times. How much of a performance improvement would one see, and how would one know if one had the old rev's or the new ones? Are these changes which would be reasonable to demand for drives which are under maintenance from DEC? If there is interest I will summarize responses and post them. Thanks, Castor Fu castor@fizzle.stanford.edu
