I have a DECStation 3100 which has the following configuration
and the following problem.

24Meg RAM
340Meg Western Digital Internal Drive
19" B/W
KN01 Version 7.02

After a period of non use, the system boots fine (test 4 seems
to take a long period of time).

After 20 minutes of operation and a reset (via button) or power
cycle test 4 will fail until the machine cools down.

Could anyone explain why this may happen?

Thanks,
steve
