Marc,

I forwarded your inquiry off to one of my software counterparts, he sent me
back the following response to your note:

1: Edit /usr/sys/data/tc_option_data.c adding a line describing your device:

  ie. { "OPT_NAME ", "xx", 0, 1, 'D', 0},

Where: "OPT_NAME " is the 8 character identifier in the option PROM.
"xx" is the name of your device driver. This allows the
TurboChannel auto configuration code to map your option
to your device. You can get the option identifier by entering

				>>cnfg

		 at the console prompt.

   So his entry would be:

	{ "TC400TTY", "tcsp", 0, 1, 'D', 0},

Don't forget to make a new kernel after editing tc_option_data.c.

I hope that solves your problem.
