If you don't know, find help and go no further... If that sort of stuff is realy, *REALY* OK, your are sure now, slide the drive out so the top is clear, not ness if its on the top of course... Press the flat thing that sticks out of the top of the front pannel. the lid should pop up a little. open the lid. Is it realy clean inside? If not, see step one. Take the pack in one hand and fondel underneath the pack cover. You should see/feel 2 sections that you squeeze together to release the bottom section of the cover. Place the pack, with the top cover in place in the big round hole. It will feel a bit 'graunchy' for the last " or so. Turn the handel on top clockwise. The pack should rotate a bit then lock. Keep turning. After a few turns, you will feel it come tight. Now lift the cover straight up. It may need a few pounds to remove. Put the top of the cover on the bottom, to keep some of the dust out, close the drive lid, restore drive. Hold nose, pray, press the "LOAD" button. The drive should spin up and the unit number light up. Good luck... ~Paul
