If the DECstation 5000/120 uses the MS01-CA memory for the existing
they're right, sort of. Otherwise they need some technical support...
More on the difference between MS01-CA and -AA later.

You are correct about what parts make up the MS01-AA.

Like I said. Somebody needs some technical training. A call back to
the people in question to tell them they were wrong is probably the
thing to do. Or talk to their manager.

Did WE sell you the wrong memory or did the 3rd party memory
vendor. From earlier in the note it sounds like the 3rd party
vendor sold you the wrong memory or not as much memory as you
bought.

Now, the MS01-CA vs. -AA stuff. When the Model 100s were announced
we also announced the MS01-CA. This is memory suitable for the Model
100. It comes in 8 MB units and is physically two 4 MB SIMMs. I doubt
it can be mixed with the MS01-AA memory. Make sure that what you got
is really the -AA stuff, it could be the -CA. If that's the case you
got 8 MB like you wanted, but in a form that isn't terribly useful.
