I just installed Suit successfully on an Iris and a SUN.
However I seem to have some problems getting it to run on a DEC ....
Problem
--------
I compiled on of the demo programs, this was the Error message I got ....
------------------------------
SRGP FATAL ERROR:
X SERVER ERROR
(examining the core will be useful only if using X in synchronous mode):
BadMatch - parameter mismatch
I AM ABOUT TO INTENTIONALLY CRASH SO YOU CAN LOOK
AT THE ACTIVATION STACK USING A DEBUGGER.
If your application is an SRGP application, please remember:
If the error message above says
that you sent a bad argument to a certain function,
you should run your program with tracing ON in order
to see exactly what you sent.
If you already had tracing enabled, remember to look in
'SRGPlogfile' for the tracing messages.
Illegal instruction (core dumped)
----------------------------------------
I did reduce the THE_SCREEN_DEPTH all the way down to 3 and then all
the way down to 0. Didn't help....
The machine is a DEC5000 with a color monitor, in case it helps...
Thanks in advance....
