No, this is not a joke. I really have an 11/785 here, and I'd like to upgrade it to Ultrix 4.2. It's currently running some flavor of 4.3bsd. I have all the proper Ultrix/AT&T licenses; the machine is registered with DEC's ESL program here at Stanford. The problem is that Stanford will only distribute Ultrix on TK50. That doesn't do me a lot of good. (When I told them I didn't have a TK50 they offered to lend me a TK50 drive to connect to my SCSI port. I don't think they know what a 785 is.) Does anyone (perhaps someone at DEC) have the distribution for a 780 or 785 they could lend me? There should be 4 RX01 diskettes labeled "ULTRIX v4.2 RX01 BOOT" for booting, and some number of 1600bpi 1/2" tapes with the actual distribution. Thanks, Larry Larry M.
