It's me again. I've got my 11/55 actually running; toggled in the boot loader from the scrap of paper taped to the console, hit "START" and <bzzzzt bzzzt> sounds from the LA36. It gives the banner, does it's startup script, asks time/date etc. And then logs itself out. What do I do next? I've got a virgin RSX pack from DEC, that I will attempt to boot off of next (I have to run home to do this) and do a little password guessing. What can I >DO< with RSX? Should I go through the effort of ditching RSX for RSTS? (Half of my friends pull their hair and scream when I mention RSTS and the other half scream when I say RSX. At least of the friends that don't have a coronary when I say "Fifteen year old PDP11" Scott 415 968 1164
