	REPHRASE:  It has (already) been pointed out to me that small
	systems may not take as much memory; I suspect my installed
	images are largely responsible for the number I'm seeing here.

	The generic question stands, however.  Does the memory requirement
	for an alpha system map 1:1 to that of a comparable VMS system?
	(Probably not.)  What ratio should we expect, roughly?
