A friend has a VAXstation 3100 (NOT a DECstation). He'd like to use the alternate console capability to boot it from a normal CRT AND be able to run the window manager (DECwindows) on the workstation display. He's working with Ultrix 4.0, to be upgraded to 4.1 soon. So far he is having no luck getting this to work. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Tony Carrato uunet!mhinfo!carrato
