I have another formatting problem.  This involves a new DEC RD53
disk on a micro vax II using the RQDX-3 controller.  While using
the DEC supplied diagnostics the formatting runs for approximately 12
minutes the stops with an error .. ie. Error occured while formatting 
device check drive for online or write protect.  The device cables have 
been checked as well as the online/write protect switches  everything
appears to be fine.  Both the drive and controller are fresh from
DEC within the last month or so.  Any ideas would be helpfull.
