Dec world,
Has anyone been experiencing this?? If so has anyone found a
solution?? We have a cluster of three 6000s with about 60-70 terminals
(vt1200). lately (when they put motif decwindows on) the system has
slowed down to a screaching halt. The OS version is 5.4-3, the motif
version is DECWINDOWS/MOTIF- V1.0. What usually happens is the process
(the window manager) goes into a MUTEX state (I don't know what this is??)
and the screen locks up and I have to power cycle the vt1200.
When I log back in, the set of processes I thought I nuked (by power
cycling) are still there and I can't kill them.

thanks in advance
