I have a Digital Equipment VT1000 terminal with 1 Megabyte of memory.

I want to upgrade to 4 Megs.

Digital indicated that i need an expansion card of some sort. The
price DEC quoted for the card and 3 Megs of memory seems exhorbitant.

Is DEC using custom SIMMS or can i get an equivalent somewhere else?
WHERE can i get them and WHO makes them and WHAT is the part number???

any responses gratefully appreciated.
