Promiscuous mode for Digital DELQA?

I am installing the Berkeley Packet Filter code shipped with tcpdump on
a VAX-3500 with 4.3 BSD-reno. The difficulty is putting the DELQA into
promiscuous mode. A DEC technical rep made mention of a special setup
packet that must be sent to the board to enable said function (no csr
stuffing).

Question: Can anyone with a DELQA user's guide send me the format of said
packet? Better yet, is there a patched if_qe.c module already done
somewhere? Thanks.
