  I think you will find a pointer in the Ultrix FAQ which is available on

gatekeep:   16.1.0.2		gatekeeper:/pub/DEC/ultrix-faq.txt


to the XCD code which will allow you to do what you want. Enjoy.

   How to play CD (music) on DECstations ?  We have DEC 5000-133
   here with the CD ROM and headphone, but don't know how to 
   use them - Please help.

   What is the command, and/or where to get the function (ftp site) ?
