Hi, I have heard a rumor that DEC has a system they supossedly call ETV which gives ethernet connectifity over "normal" cable TV networks. I would like any information there is on any system that delivers this kind of connectifity, asspecialy I would like to know the following things: How is the connection with the pc? (ie ISA-board, rs232, ethernetcard+special "modem", other) What kind of performance (throughput etc) are we talking about? What are the limitations (distances, numbers, etc) Any other systems then DEC? People to talk to about these systems (Manufacturers, Dealers etc or with hands on experiance, users). Awaiting any information with eager anticipation....:-) Dion-ben Hendriks
