I have a problem with talk from a DECstation 5000 to a Sun
I get the following messages when using talk or otalk:

  Checking for invitation on caller's machine   --> never returns

  invalid protocol (or something similar. Sorry I can't test at the moment)

Anyone had the same problems? 
BTW: Does someone has successfully built xcomm on a DECstation ? :

XComm				4/03/92

xcomm is an X talk program that is also compatible with the BSD talk
program. It also has added features such as an answering maching,
conversation recording, and a host of other goodies.
