When you buy a car, they give you an owner's manual, but they do not give you driving lessons or instructions on auto mechanics. When you buy a computer, you get slightly more support than that, but basically you are on your own to learn computer programming, debugging, and hardware maintenance once the warranty or service contract expires. The best place to get ongoing support is through the user community on NetNews or through computer clubs or user's groups.
