The one which I personnally prefer is to use the DECUS UUCP to automatically call the other site every couple of days (this solution does assume that the other site is willing to allow a UUCP connection). The files can then be sent by Email between the two machines. A side benefit of this approach is that UUCP supports retries and a fairly extensive script capability. The files to be sent to the other system can be sent by BATCH jobs sending MAIL using the normal VMS MAIL utility (in command line mode, of course). I hope that the above information is helpful. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to give me a call ordrop me an Email. - Bob +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Robert "Bob" Gezelter E-Mail: gezelter@rlgsc.com | | Robert Gezelter Software Consultant Voice: +1 718 463 1079 | | 35-20 167th Street, Suite 215 Fax: (on Request) | | Flushing, New York 11358-1731 | | United States of America | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
