I've been told that I could overcome the 2 Ethernet limitation on the DEC 4000 AXP by using an FDDI board in a Futurebus+ slot, then running the FDDI line into a concentrator, then into multiple bridges, with each bridge handling multiple Ethernet ports up to the available bandwidth. My question is, could the same be done on the VAX 4000, using one of the Q-Bus slots? Barry Smith
