Creat(ed) DECW dies after 8 min.

After receiving some advice from the net, I have installed a
COMmand file under VMS, to start a DECWindow at the request of
Xcursion. The script:

$ Create/TERM alli
$Exit

Now I have an alli icon in Xcursion HOWEVER the window that is created
works fine for only 8 minutes, then it dies! without any further notice!
It just disappears! 

Can anyone help me with this?
