CMD CRD-5000 controller - multihosts?

Does anyone use CMD's CRD-5000 disk array controller in a purely VAX SCSI
environment? We are looking at them and would like to hear from anyone who
has any experience of them.

We are particularly interested in how the multi-hosting works. If I read the
glossy right, the controller can turn your SCSI LAVc into a CI-like cluster,
with RAID thrown in. Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance
