Neal Nelson would like to run his "Business Benchmarks" on some of the VAX 8000 series systems, under ULTRIX or BSD. He has already run them on the 780, 785, 8600 and MicroVAX II. Neal normally goes to the manufacturer, who gives him acess to the systems for benchmarking, but apparently DEC is requiring that he sign a non-disclosure agreement first, which means the benchmark results can't be shown to anyone. So if you have an 8000 series VAX and would be willing to let Neal run his benchmarks overnight on your system, please give Neal or Karen McBride a call at (312) 332-3242. (Please don't respond to me - I'm just posting this for him, since he isn't on the net yet.) Thanks.
